1. Data controller

The person named below is responsible for personal-data processing under the LFPDPPP. The stated address is also the contact address for privacy matters.

2. Data processed

• Document data: entries and files used in generators or PDF tools are processed exclusively in your browser. CleverDocu does not send this content to or store it on its own servers.
• Local preferences and voluntarily saved content: language, country mode, notice status, favorites and recently used tools may be stored locally. If you explicitly save profile data, templates or a signature, the browser stores those values and images only on this device. CleverDocu does not receive this content. OCR language models are downloaded when text recognition starts; the selected image or PDF remains in the browser.
• Technical connection data: hosting and security systems may briefly process IP address, time, requested URL, browser/device data and error logs.
• Contact data: if you email us voluntarily, we process the sender address, message and necessary communication data.

3. Purposes

• Providing a stable and secure website
• Running document and file functions you initiate on your device
• Remembering local language and recent-generator preferences
• Answering enquiries and meeting legal duties
• Preventing misuse, attacks and technical errors

4. Legal basis and consent

Processing takes place as needed to provide your requested service, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate security interests or on the basis of consent. Where consent is required, it may be withdrawn for the future without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. Local storage, cookies and analytics

CleverDocu currently uses no advertising or profiling cookies and no first-party tracking. Language, country mode, favorites and recent tools may be stored locally. Profile data, logos, signatures, stamps and templates stay locally only after your choice and can be deleted in CleverDocu or browser settings. Downloads are stored only where you choose.

6. Providers and international transfers

Hosting, content-delivery and security providers may process technical connection data, including outside Mexico. They should receive only necessary data under appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards. CleverDocu does not sell personal data. CleverDocu does not use document content for advertising or AI training.

7. Retention

CleverDocu does not store document content or uploaded files on its own servers. Local settings, favorites, profile data, images, signatures and templates remain until you delete them. Downloads remain on your device until you delete them. Email and technical logs are processed only as long as necessary.

8. ARCO rights and withdrawal

Mexican law provides rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO), as well as consent withdrawal and limits on use or disclosure.

• Email a request containing your name, a contact method, the right concerned and a clear description of the data.
• Where required, include proof of identity and representation, redacting unnecessary details.
• We generally respond on admissibility within no more than 20 working days and, if granted, implement within the next 15 working days, subject to lawful extensions.

9. Security and incidents

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and data minimization. No device or transmission is entirely risk-free. Significant breaches that may materially affect your property or moral rights will be notified as required by applicable law.

10. Sensitive data and children

The service is not intended to collect sensitive data on a server. Do not email identity copies, health data, bank credentials or completed confidential documents. Minors should use CleverDocu only with a parent or guardian.

11. Changes

Material changes will be published here with a new date. Where law requires, an additional prominent notice or renewed consent will be provided.
